Quality control should begin before final inspection
Puffer jacket quality is easier to control when the approved sample and checkpoints are agreed before bulk production. A final inspection can find issues, but it cannot replace clear fabric, filling, measurement and packing standards.
Key checkpoints
- Shell, lining, filling, trims and color against the approved sample
- Quilting alignment, seam appearance, filling balance and loose threads
- Measurement tolerances, zipper function, pockets and hood shape
- Logo, labels, hangtags, barcode stickers and size assortment
- Carton marks, packing ratio and clean final appearance
Align inspection with the destination market
Share the destination, compliance needs and whether a third-party inspection is required before production begins. This gives the team time to align the production route and evidence needed for your buyer.
