The appropriate filling depends on the destination climate, garment silhouette, target retail positioning and selected shell fabric. A lightweight fashion puffer and a cold-weather parka do not need the same filling plan.
Quilting channels influence appearance, filling balance and the overall hand feel of the garment. During sampling, review both the visual direction and the practical consistency of the channel construction.
Before bulk production, the approved sample should clarify filling type, target weight, quilting layout and any buyer-required test or inspection point.
