Start with a complete development brief
A puffer jacket sample should translate a buyer direction into an approved production reference. Start with a tech pack or clear reference garment, then confirm measurements, shell fabric, lining, insulation, quilting, trims, logo method, labels and packing requirements.
What to review on the first sample
- Fit, body length, chest, sleeve and hood proportions
- Fabric hand feel, color and lining performance
- Filling distribution, quilting alignment and garment balance
- Zipper function, pockets, cuffs, labels and logo position
Keep comments traceable
Give consolidated comments with photos, measurement points and priority changes. Approve the final sample only when its specification can be used as the reference for bulk production and quality checks.
Our OEM process explains the full flow. Send a project brief when you are ready to discuss a sample.
